Jamie Kissell has been a Patient Care Coordinator at Nelson Audiology since 2023. She graduated from Sanford Brown Business College in the Secretarial/Office Management program. She worked for over 25 years for the State of Illinois at the Secretary of State office in Springfield. She has since retired and began working part time at Nelson Audiology. Jamie is so thankful to have an opportunity to work close to home with a short commute.
When asked about working at Nelson Audiology, Jamie responded that she has enjoyed watching patients’ lives be enriched by better hearing. She also explained she enjoys talking with the patients and getting to know them. In June of 2024, Jamie was fitted with her first hearing aid and is proud to share her experience as a hearing aid user. Her favorite sounds are hearing the birds in the morning.
Jamie resides in Gillespie. She enjoys spending time with her three children and their families. Jamie has 9 wonderful grandchildren and two beautiful grandchildren. She spends her free time with her family, spending time outdoors, gardening and she enjoys taking Maple, her dog, for walks.
